Part of my time involves manning a helpdesk 1 1/2 days a week so they have said a big no to home working.

My attendance record is low due to headaches, fatigue, poor focus, tinnitus etc. They act as though I am stressed and try adjusting working conditions in a way that would help a person with normal stress.

I keep seeing a person from Occupational Health who has looked on-line at information on Electrosensitivity but will not advise a WiFi free environment.

I am pursuing help through Access to Work on the grounds that I get tinnitus as it is a recognised disability. I am not hopeful of anything useful though. All the people I talked to at Access to Work had never heard of Electrosensitivity before.

My Doctor has managed to avoid committing to anything though I have seen him enough times. I am sure if I could persuade him to diagnose Electrosensitivity it would help with my employers.

Has anyone else been successful getting moved to a WiFi free room ? If you did, how did you manage it? What persuaded you employers to look after your health?

The reading in my place is consistently around 1-1.5 milligauss. The corner where I have my bed gives a reading of 5 to 10 milligauss (and 10 volts/meter), and my fridge gives off about 8 milligauss when it's on. My labtop is off the charts...

For the most part this confirms what I was speculating. What magnitude do you find affects you? And what magnitude is harmful to health?

It's been a while since I last posted a thread on this forum and the reason: I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome, besides being EHS, so it's really difficult for me to type :(

Anyway, I've been with a friend and suddenly he answered his Iphone. I measured with my RF meter and for my surprise the amount of radiation was extremely low. I used a 1 MGHz to 8 GHz meter so I wanted to know:

-are the new iphones as well as other 3G mobiles safer than the previous cell phones?
-do they transmit less radiation? Because my meter detected almost no radiation near him and my wife's phone (an old one) emits a lot of radiation.

I already noticed that when I'm on the bus some people talking on the cell phone give sgnificantly more signal in my meter than others. Is this why?

I've had to resort to using Lyrica for the pain along with Cymbalta for anxiety. My doc also prescribed Klonopin but I am hesitant to use it much as it has horrible rebound effects.

I sometimes use a little Taurine along with Lunesta and that sometimes will help me get 6 to 7 hours of sleep. But it is never restorative sleep.

My name is Stefanie and I am heavily electro-sensitive.
When I was 9 years old I had a electroshock and almost died. Since then I have heavy infection. 3 years ago by coincidence I noticed when I keep away from electro devices my infections disappear and I feel like new born. I was happy to find out about. However, now a new Odyssey started: How to live without power. The more I keep distance from electricity, they better I feel. At the same time I can also feel it now more as soon as I am in contact with it. In the meantime I can even feel the difference between the city and the country side. I can't sleep in a closed room in a house anymore. My body refused to sleep. My body got already used to it, how nice it is being without it. The recent months I slept on the balcony in a tent in Germany. When it got colder I move to Italy to a camping place. I could not stay there over Christmas as to many Caravans came to the camping place. The Caravans like houses full equipped with electro devices and no isolation as usually in houses. In the last days I slept in the car of a friend outside of Rome near the sea and that was so good!!! I felt again like new born. Only if I have to go to his house I have problems and even, if the fuses turned of. Too much neighbors as it is an apartment house.
Nevertheless, I am at the end. I do not get any support from Germany. For them, it does not exist e.g. the health insurance. I went to the Institute for Environment Health in Germany. They said to me: It is not possible for humans to notice power or to get sick by it.
Yesterday, I moved back to the camping place to the Rome city. Again I was not able to sleep the whole night. The ES is too much for my body in the city. I had again pain in my muscles and bones. In the morning I felt lie again as being out of the meat chopper.
I think to by a mobile car or house. But I am scared will that really solve my problem. Additionally, I have no money at all. And slowly I get made by it and also the people around me.
How can you live with this in our century. I almost can't take a train anymore. Everyone has a mobile phone.
Nevertheless, I moved to Italy as I thought there might be more free space of land to put a mobile house on and then arrange it related to my specific needs.
Currently, I learn Italian. It is also crazy, that I even had the country because of it. I even do not know how I shall offered that all.
However, next I have to move out of the Rome city - possible sleeping in an estate car.
Can't believe that all.
At least there a good news. Some organization get now in spite aware of it and change again from Wife to cable internet again.

Any experience living in an estate car? Any suggestions regarding it are welcome.

Anyway, with my computer, when I dont have any internet PLUGGED in it BARELY effects me. When I DO plug it in, it increase my depression, I blank out more, less creative and motivate etc.

Recently, I realize after not having my internet for 3 weeks how intense it was. I just got it back recently about 3 days ago. So I was doing alot of things to increase self awareness and health such as meditation & reiki. Also, I was making some plans to be self employeed. I was very determine to do it LIKE always in the past but once I got my internet back and I PLUGGED it in, it was like I can barely THINK. I can barely think right NOW while I type. I feel like fighting to express myself compare to when my internet is plugged out and I'm using the computer or when I'm not the computer. This is really pissing me off.

I feel the EMF from the internet is way more INTENSE compare to the EMF from my computer (when the internet is not plugged in). My sympton when the internet is plugged in is runny nose (if im on for long), neck pains, upper back pain, strange chest pain etc. The pain would be WAY MORE severe if I didnt have gemstones and my glasses.

I was in the garden today, and for a change i could hear my tinatus. It was so quite. Then i noticed what i read about a few years ago on the above website, which I wasnt to sure could be?

A high frequency sound, which is differently man made,, as it pulsed like data coming through the air. I walked around the area and could not find the source, But the tone never changed. Its so slight, but rather anoying. As soon as there is background noise of cars and wind i could not hear it.
Poor Dogs and cats, and other animals who have much better hearing than us?

I hope my ES has not gone to another level?
