03/02/2012 - A few very useful documents published on the concerns about smart meters

Two interesting documents have recently been published regarding strong concern over the profileration of modern smart metering systems. The first is a call from the American Academy of Environmental Medicine to halt the rollout of smart meters, citing the considerable literature highlighting the possibility of illness cause by the radiofrequency electromagnetic fields they give off as the reason. The second document is a call for a moratorium on smart meters from the country administration office of Santa Cruz, which covered a wider range of concerns: from health to data reliability, privacy and a lack of safety.
